Mondkopf - Rising Doom
Who said electro was dead? Yes, it turned a little bit boring the last years, we had the feeling to always listen the same noise made by the same kids dressed in fluo. Hopefully, there is some very good producers, and especially the young Mondkopf who has just released his second album called Rising Doom, on Fool's House. I really recommend you this LP, it sounds very different and extremely dark! The guy listened a lot of metal and hard rock working on this album, so you'll maybe find some references.
Then, I let you enjoy the clip of the first single called Day Of Anger.

We, at Silence Is The New Sound, can't predict the weather for the summer, but we know one of this summer hits. REMIX OF THE YEAR
Excellent label from Montreal, Tiga's TURBO Records is about to celebrate the #100 realease of his catalogue. To be featured on this EP, some brand new remixes of ZZT (Tiga+Zombie Nation)) - ZZafrika by Marseille, Light Years, Afrojack, ... but especially Gesaffelstein who made here one - to not say THE - of the best remix of the year!

DJ Mehdi x Uffie x Evian
Dj Mehdi produced the cover of the Tom Tom Club 'Wordy Rappinghood' famous song with Uffie for the vocal. The track is used for the french water brand Evian ad.
